Children’s Privacy Notice

BabySpeak is not directed at children. We do not create accounts for under-13s. Parents use the app. We do not submit BabySpeak in the Apple Kids category or Google Designed for Families programme, because the app uses third-party AI and paid subscriptions aimed at adults.

If you upload a photo of a child

• You must be the parent or guardian, or have their permission.
• You consent to us sending that image once to our vision provider solely to pick cartoon kit values (skin tone, hair colour, hair style).
• We do not store the photo. We do not build a biometric identity. We do not use the image to train models.
• The cartoon that remains on your phone is an illustration, not a photograph.

Audio

Recordings of a baby stay on your device for mood analysis and for the clip you choose to share. We do not upload the recording to generate the caption.

Because the primary user is an adult, we treat child likeness as data you control. If we learn we have collected an account from a child, we will delete it. Contact privacy@babyspeak.app.
